Josh Pritchard, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Florida Institute of Technology

Dr. Josh Pritchard is a tech-forward entrepreneur and behavior scientist developing AI systems for healthcare and human services. At the beginning of his career, as a professor, he began exploring machine-learning applications to capture behavioral data and went on to build one of the first computer-vision auto-detection platforms in ABA; translating research into scalable, real-world products. He has pursued that passion ever since, pushing the edge of how AI can disrupt the status quo of behavior analytic services.

As a founder and operator, Josh has launched and scaled organizations that combine behavioral science, automation, and rigorous operations to deliver measurable outcomes across diverse clinical populations and service models. His current work focuses on native-AI workflows — computer vision, digital phenotyping, and decision support leveraging his experience as an entrepreneur to turn complex science into practical, repeatable systems.
